This 3 or 4 blade, 60-inch diameter, DC-powered ceiling fan can be used to cool any commercial or residential environment including outdoor areas, without wasting energy. As a DC-powered device, this fan can be connected virtually anywhere there is 12/24V DC power such as an existing solar panel or battery pack. A 12w Solar Panel is also available for new installations. You can literally mount this fan in a gazebo, barn, outdoor restaurant, or any outdoor structure without AC power outlets or extension cords. Great for indoors too. This fan can be mounted on any ceiling and connected to a roof-top solar panel.
The patented Gossamer style fan blades were designed at the Florida Solar Energy Center and modeled after the famous Gossamer airplane blades. With this fan you get 'double green' with low voltage DC power and the Gossamer blade design.
